TEXARKANA – Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly threw a nine-year-old girl from a four-wheeler as they stole it, said the Texarkana Police Department.

The incident took place late last month and police detailed that the girl tried to hang on to the handlebars to keep them from taking the four-wheeler but they began to hit her hands as they drove off.

The girl eventually fell off of the vehicle and ended up skinning her knees, said TPD.

Police named the suspects as 18-year-old Jaquavion Williams, and 19-year-old Daquavious Akkard.

“Seriously, who does that to a little kid?” said the Texarkana Police Department.

“We’ve made reservations for both of them in the Bi-State Jail.”

TPD added that they are asking for any information on the suspects’ whereabout to contact them “so they can take advantage of the accommodations upstairs.”

To report information to authorities call the Texarkana Police Department at 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
