CORPUS CHRISTI – The FBI gave an update about the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station shooting that occurred on Thursday morning that injured one sailor, saying that a second suspect could be at large.
At 2:00 p.m., FBI officials stated that the suspect, described as an “Arab male” had been shot and killed by security personnel. They added that the incident is determined to be terror related and a second suspect could be at large.
“We’ve determined that the incident is terrorism-related,” said Supervisory Senior Resident Agent Leah Greeves. “We have a potential second person of interest at large in the community. If you see something, say something.”
“One sailor attached to the NAS Corpus Christi Navy Security Forces sustained minor injuries and was released from a local hospital,” said Navy officials.
