Convicted felon arrested for Ingram vehicle burglaries and possession of a firearm

KERR COUNTY – 30-year-old Andrew Hardin Harris, a convicted felon, was arrested again for theft in Ingram along with possession of a firearm by a felon on February 19, according to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office.



KCSO stated that they received a report of a vehicle burglary where a rifle had been taken in the 100 block of Briarwood Drive in Ingram.








Investigators were able to narrow down the suspect list to Harris based on previous interactions and burglaries in the area.

It was reported by KCSO that Harris has a history of motor vehicle burglaries in that area and was recently released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Harris allegedly confessed to the theft during an interview, said KCSO.





Harris was charged with Theft of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and is being held in Kerr County Jail on bonds totaling $40,000.00.
