Houston police searching for suspect who robbed a McDonalds at gunpoint



HOUSTON, Texas — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a McDonalds at gunpoint after asking and drinking a cup of water.

The robbery occurred on September 13, 2019, at 9:56 pm at the McDonalds located at 12020 Northwest Freeway in Houston.

The male approached the counter and asked an employee for a cup of water. The male then stood around for a few minutes with his water.

Police say and the surveillance footage shows the suspect pulling out a small revolver, then pointing it at the same employee, then demanding the money from the register.

Once the suspect had the money from the cash register, he then left the location in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years of age, 5’7″ to 5’9″, 230 -250 pounds. He was wearing a black Crooks and Castle brand hoodie, black Champion brand shorts and black shoes.
