Woman crashes into toll booth barricade with two children in the vehicle, arrested for DWI

PFLUGERVILLE – A arrest affidavit that was filed on Monday, April 8, stated that with two kids in the vehicle, a woman by the name of Courtney Megan Reeves, 30, was driving her SUV when she crashed into a toll booth barricade while allegedly intoxicated.

The crash was said by officials to have happened in Pflugerville at a Texas 130 northbound access ramp on Sunday at approximately 8:00 p.m.





The affidavit reported that when Pflugerville police arrived at the scene, officers discovered two children, ages two and five, inside the Toyota Rav4 that Reeves was driving, as well as a beer container in the center console.

It was added that a field sobriety test was performed on Reeves and officers smelled a moderate smell of alcohol coming from the woman. Officers noted that Reeves’ eyes were bloodshot, watery, and glassy and she had slurred speech and swayed during the sobriety test.

Reeves was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was transferred to the Travis County Jail where her bail was set at $8,000.
