WILLIAMSON COUNTY – In two separate incidents, two teens are currently in police custody after both teens allegedly made threats against two schools in Williamson County on the social media app Snap Chat, Wednesday.
The first student was arrested after making the alleged threat against Cedar Valley Middle School. Williamson County Sheriff stated that the threats are not to be thought to be reliable.
Police presence is amplified at the middle school for the next several days as protocol precautionary measures.
The second student allegedly threated to “shoot up” Liberty High School. Williamson County Sheriff’s Office looked into the threat, also made on Snap Chat, and arrested the minor.
Due to the age of the juveniles, their identities are not being released.
