Traffic stop drug bust yields 31 grams of Methamphetamine in Llano County


LLANO COUNTY – Over 30 grams of positively tested Methamphetamine was seized during a traffic stop on Ranch Road 261 in Buchanan Dam on the evening of April 3.

Once a Llano County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation, a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded approximately 31 grams, or 1.27 ounces, of Methamphetamine, according to LCSO.

The deputy also reportedly discovered a portable scale and other paraphernalia while searching the vehicle.

Officials added that the driver, who was not identified, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, with Intent to Deliver, a First-Degree Felony.
