Suspects attempt to steal beer from a store, 7-Eleven employees end up fistfight in the parking lot

SAN ANONTIO – The San Antonio Police Department is searching for two suspects who tried to rob beer from a West Side 7-Eleven early this morning.

The incident happened a little after 3:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven hear Highway 90 and West Military.





Police officials state the two suspects were trying to leave the store with the beer when 7-Eleven employees ran after them into the parking lot to stop them.

Reports state a witness informed San Antonio Police that two employees from the store ran after out of the store after the suspects and was able to bring one of them to the ground.

Apparently, the suspect that evaded the store employees returned to help his cohort and a fistfight broke out, according to the witness.





Reports state one of the employees was hit in the face during the exchange.

Apparently one of the employees were also able to puncture one of the back tires of the suspects’ car and remove the license plate yet the suspects were still able to escape the parking lot.

Police have stated they are searching for the two suspects at this time.





The 7-Eleven employee’s medical conditions are not known at this time.

There has not been a description of the two suspects released as police still attempt to determine if this was an act of theft or robbery.
