BEXAR COUNTY – Authorities are requesting help from the public to locate a man accused of physically assaulting his girlfriend.
On Saturday, August 10th, BCOS received a call for an alleged assault in northeast Bexar County involving 42-year-old Dennis Calvert.
Deputy Johnny Garcia, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office PIO stated “On August 10, 2019, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched for an assault in northeast Bexar county. Dennis Calvert is alleged to have thrown a lighter at her car, causing damage to her windshield and after the victim exited her vehicle Dennis began yelling and accusing her of cheating on him.”
According to deputies, Calvert lifted his fists, but as the victim attempted to protect her face, he allegedly hit her in the chest several times.
Deputy Garcia also stated, “Fortunately, the victim was able to get away from Dennis and call for help. Before deputies arrived at the location, Dennis had fled on foot and has been on the run since.”
Dennis Calvert is a white male, 5’7”, and weighs 190 pounds.
Calvert is known to hang out in northeast Bexar County.
