SAN ANTONIO – Friends of Cecilia Huerta Gallegos, age 30, are growing concerned they haven’t seen or heard from her in over a week since Sunday, July 7th. The 30-year-old was last seen on Southwick on the far northwest side.

Family of Gallegos filed a missing person’s report on Thursday, July 11th, and police stated they are still searching for her. Many of her friends and colleagues suspect that her husband may be involved in some way. Gallegos had allegedly reached out to several friends and spoke about the issues in her marriage and how her husband was often violent. According to her friends, Gallegos stated that if she went missing to question her husband.

Apparently, Gallegos’ husband stated that she had an affair and often left him and their four children.

Family members fear something has, in fact, happened to her because she did not take any of her belongings with her, as in her phone. Her car is still at her residents and none of her credit cards have been used.

Police state that Cecilia is described as about 5-foot-1 and has shoulder-length wavy hair.

If you have any information about this missing person, please contact the San Antonio Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660.
