Poth man sentenced to life without possibility of parole one year after murdering wife and friend

WILSON COUNTY – On June 10, exactly one year after his arrest for the murders of his wife and a friend, John Waclawczyk was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

According to law enforcement, deputies were called to the scene at Waclawczyk’s home in Poth on June 10, 2018, for reports of a disturbance.





When they arrived, they found Waclawczyk’s wife, Justine Hosseini, and Andrew Toscano, a friend, shot to death, stated Wilson County officials.

81st Judicial District Attorney Audrey Gossett Louis stated that John Walclawczyk pleaded guilty to Capital Murder and was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole and he also waived his right to appeal.

Gossett Louis continued to say, “It’s been a very difficult and painful year for Justine’s and Andrew’s families. We hope this plea gives them some sense of justice, healing, and peace.”

The investigation was conducted in part by the Post Police Department, the Texas Rangers, and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office.
