Police arrest two women who allegedly burglarized Group Assistance Homes in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – Two women were arrested on Friday for allegedly burglarizing several Group Assistance Homes in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

During an investigation into a surveillance video, the suspects’ vehicle was discovered to be a 2015 Ford Focus, which led police to identify the suspects, Wylesa Matthews, 24, and Bria Roberson, 24.

On Friday, authorities stated they observed the two women driving to several Group Assistance Homes where they committed the crime of burglary of a habitation.

Matthews and Roberson were taken into custody at the scene of one of the burglaries and faces a charge of Burglary of Habitation. The two could also face other additional charges.





“Outstanding work by Prue Property Crimes detectives and SAFFE officers working in conjunction with DPS!” said SAPD.
