HUNTSVILLE – It was reported by the Walker County Firefighter’s Association that a Hunstville Fire Apparatus was involved in a serious accident that took place on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred on FM2821 near Highway 247 at approximately 9:30 a.m. and involved a Hunstville Fire Department truck and another vehicle
WCFA stated that two firefighters and an occupant of the other vehicle involved were transported to Houston Methodist Hospital and all other involved reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
The organization also reported that a third firefighter had become entrapped but a DPS Trooper and a fellow firefighter were able to rescue them.
That firefighter was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center.
