PEARLAND – No injuries were reported after a 12-year-old student at Alexander Middle School allegedly brought a handgun to school on Monday, April 8, according to the Pearland Police Department
PPD reported that school staff contacted Pearland Police School Resource Officers after learning that a student had brought a weapon to school.
Once law enforcement found the student, officials stated that the weapon was discovered in his backpack inside of his locked.
Pearland police secured the weapon and the juvenile was charged with Unlawfully Carrying Weapon (F-3).
An investigation of this incident is still ongoing by police and more details may become available at a later date.
