Lockhart teacher faces 2nd degree felony for alleged relationship with female high school student

LOCKHART — A 26-year-old high school teacher has been arrested after allegedly having an Improper relationship with a female student.

Police say detectives developed probable caused to arrest Taylor Seymour, of Kyle, who is a teacher and a coach at Lockhart High School.

Seymour is alleged to have had an improper relationship with a student that started in the summer that involved kissing.

Police say there is no indication that any other students were involved.

Seymour surrendered herself to the Lockhart Police Department and is being booked into the Caldwell County Jail on a charge of Improper Relationship between Educator and Student, which is a 2nd degree felony.

Her bond is set at $50,000
