Kerrville’s Concerts by the River this Friday with more country and rock music

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank everyone who has come out and supported the last few Concerts by the River. Our next concert is coming up this Friday, July 19, so don’t miss out! Come out to Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Dr., to see Dr. Jocular and the Feelgoods and The Ryan Ross Band perform live! Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets.

Concerts by the River is a series of free concerts that take place in Louise Hays Park. Concert dates for the last of the 2019 series are as follows: July 19, Aug. 30 and Sept. 20.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Be sure to stop by the Pint and Plow booth, which will be serving refreshments at each concert. Pint and Plow’s proceeds from these concerts will be donated back to the Parks and Recreation Department’s tree program.

This is a great opportunity for community members to come out and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment. The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank James Avery, Mini Mart, Crenwelge Motors, UBS Financial, and Pint and Plow for sponsoring this wonderful community event.

Don’t forget to bring your cash to help support your local Guard team! Guard Team members will be at the event selling glow sticks to help fund their way to state! Bracelets, necklaces and more will be available for purchase and by donation!

Please remember that there is no glass allowed in the park, and smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is prohibited in all city parks.
