KERRVILLE, Texas — A man suspected of several car burglaries that occurred in late October has been arrested by Kerrville law enforcement.

21-year-old Francisco Alejandro Uballe allegedly stole items from nine cars on October 28.

A media release from the Kerrville Police Department says officers responded to reports of nine vehicles being burglarized overnight in the area around Colorado Street and West Lane.

Several items were reportedly stolen from the vehicles and each vehicle that had been burglarized had been left unlocked.

Other vehicles in the area that were locked had not been broken into.

On October 30, KPD Officers were dispatched to a local restaurant for reports of a disturbance involving a group of males.

One had allegedly displayed a firearm.

Officers conducted an investigative stop on a vehicle leaving the scene that matched the description given by the restaurant’s employees.

The driver was identified as Uballe and a stolen firearm was reportedly recovered from his vehicle.

Officers determined the firearm had been stolen from a vehicle in Comfort, Texas.

An arrest warrant was issued for that offense and Uballe was subsequently arrested.

The release states Uballe confessed to between 25 and 35 vehicle burglaries that took place over the course of several weeks.

Investigators reportedly located and recovered stolen property from the October 28 robberies in Uballe’s home.

He is currently being investigated for multiple counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, a Class A Misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and/or up to a $4,000 fine.

KPD is still investigating this case as there is still stolen property that has not been traced back to their rightful owners.

The items include sunglasses, jewelry and firearm accessories.

Anyone who has information regarding this case is urged to call the Kerrville Police Department at 830-257-8181 and reference case #1902716.
