KERR COUNTY, Texas — A man was arrested by Kerrville law enforcement after he received two Grand Jury Indictments for the offense of Aggravated Assault of a Child.
A press release from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office says Investigators received a report on October 28 that 19-year-old Caleb Eugene Burress had allegedly been engaging in sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl.
According to the release, Burress had met the 13-year-old through a mutual friend.
Burress was allegedly aware of the girl’s age and that he could go to jail for his actions but continued to pursue a sexual encounter.
He was arrested and booked into the Kerr County Jail on December 9.
Burress is reportedly being held pending bonds totaling $50,000.
