According to the City of Kerrville, public hearings of the Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan are scheduled for Thursday, June 7 (Planning and Zoning Commission, 4:30 p.m., City Hall) and Tuesday, June 12 (City Council, 6 p.m., City Hall).
The city says that these hearings will include a presentation highlighting features of the plan and an opportunity for public comment.
Adoption of the ordinance is set for Tuesday, June 26, 6 p.m. at the Cailloux Center.
“The Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan covers land use, economic development, housing, Downtown, parks and open space, public facilities and services, and other topics and
includes a detailed implementation strategy. The plan focuses on 11 strategic areas in Kerrville as the most likely places for future growth. This approach evolved and was endorsed by the community over the course of several public meetings and other opportunities for input involving hundreds of Kerrville stakeholders.”
