KENDALL COUNTY, Texas — A Kendall County man has been charged with sexual assault in Houston for allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old girl he coached almost a month ago.

A report from the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney’s Office says Danny C. Perez, a softball coach for a select league that practices in Boerne ISD campuses, assaulted the girl on November 16.

The sexual assault reportedly occurred at a hotel the girls’ softball team was staying at for a game.

An arrest affidavit states that Perez gave alcohol to the 17-year-old girl then sexually assaulted her.

According to the affidavit, the victim pleaded for Perez to stop during the assault, but he continued to sexually assault her.

Law enforcement officials have reason to believe other children or young women have been sexually abused by Perez.

The Kendall County District Attorney’s Office is urging anyone who may have been victimized by Danny Perez to contact their office at 830-249-9343 or by email at CDA@co.kendall.tx.us .
