Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzelez reported on September 6 that deputies were called to the 200 block of Nod Ave where they discovered a man laying on the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound.

An initial investigation by authorities revealed that the wounded man may have broken into a Crosby home where the 22-year-old homeowner shot him.
