HARRIS COUNTY — A man with warrants got a charge added to the list when he allegedly punched a Constable Deputy inside of the Harris County jail.
Timothy Hamilton was arrested on multiple warrants after police were called to the Car Max Dealership located in the 16100 block of North Freeway.
The reason police were called, is because someone noticed suspicious activity on surveillance camera during closed business hours at Car Max.
After police identified Hamilton, it was determined that there were five warrants out for his arrest.
Hamilton was arrested and transported to the Harris County Jail, where authorities said he became combative and struck the Constable Deputy with a closed fist, causing her pain and discomfort.
“Timothy Hamilton was booked into the Harris County Jail, for the open warrants and was charged with Assault on a Public Servant. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 184th District Court.”, stated Constable Mark Herman.
