GILLESPIE COUNTY — The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests Thursday after allegedly finding methamphetamine at a residence while investigating a burglary.
Deputies reportedly went to a residence in the 300 block of West Morse Street in Fredericksburg looking for stolen property after they obtained a search warrant for the residence.
Deputies then say the saw illegal narcotics in plain view after meeting with the occupants and entering the residence and obtained a separate search warrant for narcotics.
GCSO says they found 14 grams of methamphetamine packaged to sell in a separate part of the residence and they also found an item from the burglary.
Allan Scott Crozier, 38, of Fredericksburg and Katrina Kay Demmert, 29, of Fredericksburg were both charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, 4-200 grams which is a first-degree felony under the Texas Penal code.
Crozier has a $75,000 bond according to jail records and has not been released.
Jail records show that Demmert posted a $50,000 bond and was released Sunday.
The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office says that additional charges regarding the burglary are pending.
