GILLESPIE COUNTY – Two individuals are being searched for by the Gillespie County Sheriff’s office in connection to the theft of a stolen driver’s license. The sheriff’s office reported on July 25 that they were searching for the two drivers/owners of the two suspect vehicles seen on surveillance footage.
The suspects are being accused of entering a bank drive-through in Fredericksburg and using a stolen Texas Driver’s License that was said to be stolen from a mailbox, said GCSO. GCSO continued to say that the suspects were able to fraudulently withdraw several thousand dollars out of the victim’s account.
The suspect vehicles being searched for are described as a possible 2007-2010 Kia Spectra, and a possible Dodge Journey. GCSO noted that there is a large dent in the driver’s side rear quarter panel of the Kia Spectra. One of the suspects was described by authorities as a possible Causation male with a tattoo on his left arm.
If anyone has information regarding these individuals or their vehicles, contact Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Sergeant Wesley Rheinhardt at 830-997-7585.
