Fireworks ban issued by Kendall County Emergency Management

According to the Kendall County Emergency Management, because of the current drought conditions in the county, today the County Judge issued a Local State of Disaster for Kendall County. This includes the banning of fireworks with sticks, fins, and/or missiles. It is stated that these fireworks can range from 25-50 feet in diameter and can get out of the operator’s control.

The issuing of the Local State of Disaster comes after the burn ban in Kendall County that became effective as of May 29, 2018.
