Converse traffic stop leads to crystal meth seizure of over 70 grams and one arrest


CONVERSE – According to the Converse Police Department, during a recent traffic stop in a high drug area, crystal methamphetamine along with additional narcotic contraband, cash, and a handgun were seized.

It was reported by the Converse PD on July 12 that the driver was found to be in possession of 74.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine, $535.00 in cash, a handgun, and other narcotic contraband.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the traffic stop was arrested and faces drug and weapon charges, concluded CPD.
