SAPD arrests suspect allegedly involved in the shooting of an officer

UPDATE – Perez was arrested after information about his location was learned by the Southwest Texas Fusion Center.

SAPD stated that Perez was arrested at a gas station in New Braunfels on Monday evening.

Perez reportedly was injured during his arrest and was taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

Following his hospital visit, Perez was taken to Homicide where police conducted an interview.

The suspect was book early Tuesday morning.

SAN ANTONIO – Police are looking to find a suspect accused of shooting a San Antonio Police Officer after midnight on Monday.

The shooting took place on September 9 in the 700 block of Kendalia and Devin Seth Perez, 17, is wanted for Attempted Capital Murder.

Perez is described by SAPD as being 6’0”, thin and was last seen with dyed blonde hair.
