At least 2 dead, 5 injured after 3 reported shootings in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas — Three reported shootings in southeast Houston left at least two people dead and five injured on Monday, November 4.

According to Click2Houston, the first shooting was reported at 4 p.m. at a home located at Schley and Delmas streets.







Houston police found one man dead at the scene, according to Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo.

Two other victims were reportedly taken to a hospital in Clear Lake for treatment.

Chief Acevedo says police are on the lookout for a grey or silver four-door Sedan witnesses saw leaving the scene of the shooting.







The home is also known to be the site of “unusual” activity, according to Chief Acevedo.

The second shooting was reported at 4:15 p.m. at the corner of Northridge Drive and Jutland Road.







Click2Houston reports four people were shot at the scene.

One later succumbed to their injuries and died.

Sources with Houston police say one of the wounded individuals is believed to be a possible suspect and has been taken into custody.

The third shooting was reported at 5:20 p.m. in a parking lot at the corner of Broadway and Rockhill.

According to Click2Houston, SKY 2 captured surveillance of police tending to a single victim at the location.

Police were also seen taking someone into custody.

Chief Acevedo says it doesn’t appear as though the three shootings are related; however, investigators are still trying to sort out all the details.
