Arrest follows allegations of SAPD officer stalking ex-girlfriend

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio Police Officer has arrested after being accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend.

The victim told police that he ex-boyfriend, Officer Kenneth Moreno, had been calling and texting her all day and also stated that he would go to her house and search her phone, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

SAPD reported that the victim alleged she wasn’t able to call police earlier in the day due to Moreno calling and texting her so much.

Chief William McManus said, “This behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated by any member of the San Antonio Police Department.”

Moreno is expected to be charged with stalking and has been placed on administrative leave.

It was said by SAPD investigators that this incident is related to a separate incident that took place on April 19 that involved another San Antonio police officer.
