AMBER ALERT: 13-year-old Betsabe Perez abducted!

DEL RIO — 13-year old Betsabe Perez has been abducted.

Sources at Texas Alerts say she was last seen at 12:00 p.m. on 208 West Drive in Del Rio, Texas on September 9, 2019.

The suspect of this abduction is 19-year-old Erik Diaz-Tapia, according to Texas Alerts.

The suspect vehicle is a red, four-door Sedan with Texas license plates.

Betsabe is a white 13-year-old female standing at 5’5″ and weighing 135 lbs.

She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Betsabe was last seen wearing jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black and white bandana on her head.

Suspect Diaz-Tapia is a white male standing at 6’0″ and weighing 190 lbs.

He has black hair and brown eyes.

Kendall County softball coach accused of sexually assaulting 17-year-old girl on his team

KENDALL COUNTY, Texas — A Kendall County man has been charged with sexual assault in Houston for allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old girl he coached almost a month ago.

A report from the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney’s Office says Danny C. Perez, a softball coach for a select league that practices in Boerne ISD campuses, assaulted the girl on November 16.

The sexual assault reportedly occurred at a hotel the girls’ softball team was staying at for a game.

An arrest affidavit states that Perez gave alcohol to the 17-year-old girl then sexually assaulted her.

According to the affidavit, the victim pleaded for Perez to stop during the assault, but he continued to sexually assault her.

Law enforcement officials have reason to believe other children or young women have been sexually abused by Perez.

Man allegedly threatened to kill judge if suspected El Paso Walmart shooter not sentenced to death penalty

EL PASO, Texas — El Paso law enforcement reportedly arrested a man on Friday who allegedly made threats towards a judge and the alleged Walmart shooter.

Sources with KVIA say 38-year-old Jose Humberto Martinez called the courthouse and threatened to kill the presiding district court judge if the suspected Walmart shooter, Patrick Crusius, did not receive the death penalty.

Martinez allegedly threatened to kill Crusius as well.

Police arrested Martinez and Charged him with making a terroristic threat.

As of Saturday, December 7, he remained in custody in the El Paso County Detention Facility on a bond of $75,000.

18-year-old rescued by Harris County law enforcement before being trafficked, alleged kidnapper now in custody

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office reportedly rescued a kidnapped 18-year-old girl on Saturday, December 7.

Deputies responded to the 16510 block of the North Freeway in reference to a welfare check after the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office advised an 18-year-old girl had been kidnapped and held against her will.

A report from Constable Herman’s Office says the victim’s cellphone was pinged during the investigation, leading Deputies to the 14600 block of Walters Road.

Once Deputies arrived, they were able to locate the victim and a 16-year-old girl sitting in a vehicle at a corner store parking lot.

The suspect had allegedly fled the scene on foot but was found after deputies conducted an extensive search of the area.

The suspect, identified as Tevin McClendon, had allegedly kidnapped the victim while brandishing a handgun.

Police say he then took her to a motel and sexually assaulted her.

McClendon was allegedly planning on taking the victim to Louisiana where he told her he was going to force her to have sex for money.

Constable Herman’s Office said the victim was not injured during the kidnapping or sexual assault.

She was later released to her mother after being evaluated at a local hospital.

The 16-year-old girl was reportedly arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation for Robbery trough the Juvenile Justice Department.

McClendon was found to have several outstanding felony warrants for Aggravated Assault- Family Member and a Parole Violation Warrant for Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.

Charges for Human Trafficking, Kidnapping, and Sexual Assault will be filed on a later date pending further investigation, according to Constable Herman.
