15-year-old dies in high-speed crash, 14-year-old driving vehicle

SAN ANTONIO – The 15-year-old victim involved in the vehicle accident that took place on Saturday has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner as Raylina Arizola.

It was reported by police that just after 9:00 p.m. in the 6500 block of Padre Drive on the South Side, a 14-year-old who was driving a Ford Fusion at a high rate of speed when she lost control drove onto a curb, crashing through a wooden fence and hitting a tree.





Five people inside the vehicle, including the 14-year-old driver, were rescued by firefighters. Three passengers and the driver were transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Raylina was sitting in the front passenger seat and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The juvenile driver is facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
