BEXAR COUNTY — San Antonio Police have arrested and Charged an alleged serial robber for three aggravated robberies that took place in late September.

22-year-old, Adan San Gabriel was arrested this morning and has been Charged for three aggravated robberies, evading in a vehicle and a parole violation in relation to the evading in a vehicle Charge.

On September 19 a U-Haul vehicle was stolen from an unknown location.

The stolen U-Haul was allegedly used by the suspect in several robberies in South San Antonio.

A weapon was allegedly used in each of the robberies, two of which were car jackings and one a robbery of a business.

Police were told to be on the lookout for the U-Haul vehicle allegedly being used for these crimes.

This morning officers from East Patrol spotted the vehicle at Harry Wurzbach and Rittiman Rd.

When officers tried to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle reportedly began to evade officers.

The U-Haul vehicle ended up wrecking in Schertz in the 5600 block of Pingway.

The driver, San Gabriel, was arrested without further incident and brought into the San Antonio Police Department Robbery Unit for questioning.

Sources say more Charges are anticipated in this case, officials believe San Gabriel may be behind more robberies across the city.

A second individual is believed to be involved in these robberies with San Gabriel.

Officials believe 22-year-old Preciliano Perez, who is already in custody for a separate and unrelated robbery Charge, worked alongside San Gabriel in the three aggravated robberies.
