Bexar County K9 deputy assists in the seizure of $675k worth of methamphetamine

BEXAR COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

BEXAR COUNTY – Over 13 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine said to be worth over $600,000 was seized on Friday in part by K9 “Rocket” with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.


The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported that with the help of the Drug Enforcement Administration, BCSO Narcotics, K9, and Texas DPS, the drug seizure took place at the Home Depot located at 2658 SW Military Drive in San Antonio.

The driver of the vehicle, identified by BCSO as Federico De Los Santos-Rodriguez, was taken into custody without incident. He is being charged federally with Conspiracy to Possess W/I Distribute 500 grams or more of Methamphetamine, stated BCSO.

The 13.5 kilograms of seized methamphetamine was said to have a street value of approximately $675,000.00, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
