SAN ANTONIO – In the evening of Wednesday, June 19th, around 7:40 p.m. officers of the San Antonio Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 2500 block of Carla Lane. Officers discovered a man who had been working underneath his vehicle and was trapped under it.
According to the San Antonio Police, the man attempting to work on his car that evening when the jack slipped out from underneath it, causing the car to fall onto his head.
Upon arrival, the officers found the man, age 46, with severe trauma to the head. The car was jacked up with its right tire removed when apparently the jack allegedly slipped.
The man was quickly transported to University Hospital in critical life-threatening condition, according to officials. The man’s condition as of Friday morning is still currently unknown.
